Why use DateWise?
Dates are deceptively tricky. Months have 28 to 31 days, every fourth year has an extra day (with exceptions), weeks start on Monday in some countries and Sunday in others, and time zones shift twice a year for daylight saving. Counting on a calendar is slow and easy to get wrong by one. DateWise does the counting for you and shows every step, so you can trust the answer.
Where to start
- Filling in a form or curious about a milestone? The age calculator gives your exact age and how many days you've been alive.
- Planning a trip, a project or a pregnancy? The days between dates calculator counts the days and weekdays between any two dates.
- Need a deadline 30, 60 or 90 days from now? The date calculator adds or subtracts days, weeks, months and years.
- Working to a contract or delivery date? The business days calculator skips weekends and the holidays you list.
- Scheduling a call abroad? The time zone converter shows the time in both cities and around the world.
Counting tips that avoid off-by-one mistakes
- Decide whether the end date counts. From Monday to Friday is 4 days apart, but 5 days if you count both Monday and Friday, as you would for a hotel booking versus a work week.
- Months aren't all the same length. "One month after 31 January" is 28 or 29 February, not 3 March.
- Check the time zone of a deadline. "Midnight on Friday" in New York is already Saturday morning in most of the world.
